The UoA’s goal for the project was to improve patient safety through simulation-based education and research. The project also included a new 100 seat flat floor teaching room in the Ground Floor of B501.

Precon’s Role

Precon led the project from inception. Part of the project included reviewing feasibility of various new build and refurbishment options including location, existing infrastructure, capital cost, and operational costs.  Design was completed to programme and Precon led the Main Contractor procurement process in late 2018. Construction commenced in December 2018 and it is currently tracking to schedule and budget.
